How to bounty bots the smart way: The number one goal when you bounty bots is to create and maintain a system where you can continuously kill them without having to bounty them more than once. In order to do this you must activate [b] PVP Self Defense [/b]. Follow theses Karahan gold steps:
1. Have a friend or an alternate character place the bounty on the bot. This will insure that your main character stays within close proximity to the targeted bot, increasing your chances of getting your bounty money back.
2. Once bounty is placed, activate PVP bounty and hit the targeted bot a couple of times (don't kill the bot at this point).
3. Turn off bounty and stand close to the targeted bot. It will hit you and PVP Self Defense will become activated.
4. Now you can continually kill the bot over and over as long as PVP Self Defense is activated.
5. Caution: if you go into portals, your PVP Self Defense may become deactivated (note charming or going to CM doesn't deactivate it)
6. If you die or activate bounty, PVP Self Defense will become deactivated.
